Project Manager - Advanced Product Development – Zeeland, Michigan 

DISHER is seeking a Project Manager to join our Advanced Product Development team based in West Michigan. As the Project Manager you will manage the product development process, including defining scope, coordinating research activities, facilitating ideation events, managing timelines and cultivating relationships with customers.

What you will get to do:

• Manage Advanced Product Development projects
• Cultivate relationships with customers
• Define the scope of the project and deliverables that align with customer objectives
• Coordinate research and concept development activities
• Work to develop a product or solution from a customer idea or problem statement
• Create process, identify risks and develop a plan to address risks 
• Facilitate innovation workshops an ideation events
• Ensure concepts take into consideration user desirability, commercial viability and production feasibility
• Prepare proposals and manage timelines and budgets for ongoing projects
• Help establish and standardize the project management process on the Advanced Product Development team
• Participate in training and growth opportunities as a part of the DISHER team

What will make you successful:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 5 – 10 years of project management or new product development experience
• Entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for learning and desire to be a thought leader
• Organized and able to manage many tasks and projects at one time
• PMP certificate or training in SCRUM or Agile Program Management would be beneficial
• Experience working with electronics during the product development process is helpful 
• Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without sponsorship
