Manufacturing Engineer – Zeeland, MI -
DISHER is currently looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to our team. As a part of our manufacturing team, you will get the opportunity to Make a Positive Difference every single day. In this role, you will partner with customers in a variety of industries on long-term projects to help them find solutions and make improvements.

What you will get to do:
Work directly with DISHER customers in a variety of project roles based on the customer’s needs for Manufacturing Tech Solutions.
Travel to customer locations in West Michigan for most of the week and have DISHER’s Zeeland, Michigan, office as your home-base to return to and work from when not on a customer site.
Spend a lot of time on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot and correct issues and improve processes.
Perform root cause analysis on customer products and manufacturing lines.
Flexibility to work on manufacturing-related projects, such as Quality Engineering work experiences.
Discover solutions for customer manufacturing facilities, including automation solutions.
Manage your own personal work schedule.
Immerse yourself with equipment, with problems, and with people.
Day to day manufacturing production support including cost savings projects, corrective actions, continuous improvements and problem solving.
What will make you successful:
5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
Experience in process, quality, continuous improvement, project management and/or industrial engineering
Machine design/repair, automation and validation experience would all be beneficial
Experience with conducting time studies and experience with ERP routings.
You’re a self-starter who will "own" the project
You thrive on variety and have an entrepreneurial spirit
You have the heart of a steward and a desire to serve your customer and team to Make a Positive Difference
Seamless communication that shows an ability to anticipate your customer’s needs
Flexible and willing to venture into new territory to meet any customer need
Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without sponsorship.
