Business Development Partner – West Michigan

DISHER is seeking a Business Development professional to join our team based in West Michigan. As the Business Development Partner, you will get to foster relationships with existing customers, develop rapport with new and potential customers and partner with the DISHER team to respond to referrals and pursue top leads throughout the region and across the country.

What you will get to do:

  • Partner with the DISHER team to qualify incoming opportunities, establish priorities and pursue top leads
  • Participate in developing sales goals and strategies that align with DISHER’s strategic plan by product line, geographic region and industry
  • Network to build relationships within the industry utilizing personal connections, technical expertise and thought leadership
  • Prospect potential leads and utilize a system to connect with and track targets
  • Be a business development resource for DISHER, managing miscellaneous leads and acting as a point of contact
  • Develop proposals with DISHER Subject Matter Experts and help close sales

What will make you successful:

·        5+ years of sales experience in engineering services or similar technical field

·        Prior success building relationships and rapport with potential and current customers

·        Ownership mentality to building and growing the business

·        Go-getter and enthusiastic approach to business development

·        Existing network and relationships within the industries we serve

·        Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar business development software

·        Professional sales training/coaching with Sandler or other systems is a big plus

·        Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without sponsorship
