Software Commissioning Engineer I – Grand Rapids, Michigan

DISHER is currently partnering with a global material handling and logistic solutions company on their need for a Software Commissioning Engineer Level I in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will support the team in all aspects of software commissioning and support. This is a hands-on role where you will be traveling to support their customers during implementation.

What you will get to do:
  • Build equipment emulation models for in-house software testing.
  • Perform emulation testing to software development and testing teams.
  • Execute integration test plan.
  • Commission software on-site with material handling equipment.
  • Report commissioning status.
What will make you successful:
  • Associates degree in Computer Science or related experience (C# Boot Camp).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Desire to work in a fast-pace environment.
  • Ability to read mechanical layout drawings, a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, including international travel.
